I use EO's on my son. Cedarwood, vetiver, lavender and frank. All in a blend-for a base. He has adhd as well so that helps to calm him. For autism, I use different things for him based on the kind of day he is having. Brain power, clary sage, common sense are all great. I also use MindWise for him. That has been wonderful! I truly believe in the help these oils give my son, I have seen such amazing changes in him! As for allergies I diffuse peppermint, lavender, and lemon. I also use RC on the chest and raven or raventsara.

I didn't know that the EO Desk Ref and Aromatherapy for Healthy Children existed. Will order it right away.
Thanks for all of your ideas. My next EO order will be robust.

Your answers are so confirming!! Thank you so much.
Right now william is 26 mons. We are using Lavendar to diffuse for 10-15 mins at a time when he seems so uncomfortable or a finger dot diluted on his foot. We just started using the Vitaflex chart & putting diluted lavendar on his intestinal locations. May also use those points for his brain because he acts at times like he is having headaches.
Gentle Babies is wonderful. I've given at least 5 friends copies. The Reference Guide for Essential Oils is my EO Bible.
How old were your children when you started using EO?
Thanks for sharing what has worked for you.
Blessings,

Oh-to add, I use it on his big toes, the balls of his feet and then his spine. Some other times I will do behind the ears or the wrists, that is mainly for sleep oils or focus oils though :)

@A MyAutismTeam Member I started off very slow for my son. Very diluted too. 3 x a day. I went up to every 3 hours with him. Now I am back to 3 x a day. He just doesn't need as much anymore. He is doing very well. Now I do 10/10/10 and then 30 drops carrier. The frank I use 5 drops. It is really optional, from my research I read that frank will enhance the oils overall. I also have common sense, brain power, clary sage, clarity and use MindWise as a supplement. The lavender, cedarwood and veviter are a great base for starting out. It is very relaxing and calming. Then when you really start reading into them and seeing what does what you can adapt it more to your child. I hope this helped!
