Need legal advocate to help with my non verbal 7 he old in DCF custody who's now in a group home. Need guidance and support desperately.
OK, now I see what the issue is. In the state of Mass. try to get your son into Melmark School New England. My son is attending there in Philadelphia,PA. Mass. is different. From what I understand, the state consults with Melmark to create programs and for the hardest cases the state may fund to send your son to Melmark. It is one of the best and most intensive programs in the country. A qualified Special Needs attorney from the state should be able to assist.
Ditto to the above. Hope you find the specific help you need, but there are a lot of us that check in here off and on if you need an "ear." Hugs to you.
I don't live in Mass, but you have whatever support I can give. Message me if you need a friend.
I know of a good advocate but she is not a lawyer so she cannot help with that. Gail Green out of the Fitchburg area is very good. I would also contact DDS department of developmental services they can point you in the right direction. I am not sure of your whole situation so I can't help more than that. If the child was taken from you for some reason you are definitely going to need legal help.
