Breaking The Diet At Parties
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

For the moms that have their kids on gluten/casein free diet. Do you break it at parties? We usually have two parties a month and I let my daughter eat everything. She loves cake. I don't notice a significant difference in her behavior when she breaks the diet. We're good about sticking to it otherwise.

I try not to. But it is hard and he craves it sometimes when he sees it he remembers that he liked it. I bring my own snack bag everywhere. I mean , like i bring a lunch box for him to resturants... but he still gets gluten and dairy when his dad gives it to him :( I notice it most in his bowel movements. His BM is delayed and harder to pass.
