ABA Providers In Nothern Virginia
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello. My 2 y o son has been diagnosed with autism. I wonder if anyone can recommend a good ABA provider in Nothern VIrginia who accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance.
Also, I wonder the cost work with co-pay. We have a plan with co-pay $25 per visit. I wonder if that means that we just will pay $25 for each day of therapy (no matter how many hours) or we need to pay also for indirect hours.
I would really appreciate any information on the subject.

Oh and one more thing. You will pay the copay each visit. If you attend the lunch bunch you should ask someone to help you with the Medicaid specifically the EDCD waiver. This will help pick up your copays

I just came across a provider in McLean in one of my packets. Continuum Autism Spectrum Alliance. The website is http://autismspectrumalliance.com / I don't know a thing about them but they were in the resource directory I picked up

I live out in culpeper county but was out in McLean last weekend. We went to the sensory friendly movies at the amc in McLean. They keep a table outside the theater with brochures and resource packets. There is something called a lunch bunch and another called brunch bunch in your area. They are held twice a month on Tuesdays at the arc of northern Virginia and the second Saturday at the autism society of northern Virginia. It's a small group discussion with families and staff. They will help you find resources in your area. The one i go to in my area is held once a month and has been very helpful especially with questions about aba and Medicaid. If you are interested I can send you the information I have.
