I suggest getting him on a schedule to go to the potty. As soon as he wakes up put him on the potty. After that, take him every two hours. Also monitor how much he drinks..if he drinks a lot you may need to take him more often. Once he gets into the routine explain to him to tell you if he has to potty. It will be a struggle but stick with it!
