Epilepsy. Is There Any Device Out There That Will Wake A Parent If Your Child Has A Seizure In The Middle Of The Night?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My daughter is 10 years old, nonverbal and has epilepsy. ..we are terrified to sleep due to her seizures. I'm wondering if anyone has the same problem and knows of anything that could help wake me if I do fall asleep and she happens to have a seizure? Thank you!! :)

I agree with the dog, service dogs are trained to detect seizures (sometimes right before they happen - not sure how, but yeah). Anyways, the dog would go and either stay by their "patient" or go and get assistance. I know they are a lot of money (15-30K depending), but they usually have sponsors to assist paying and then the company assists with fund raising like "Go fund me" , The money sounds like a lot but it covers a lot and includes on going training usually.

I know this isn't exactly what you're asking, but a dog can be trained to do that.
