I have also had a hard time with this. If there was a website to help with this, besides location and age, it would be helpful for me to be able to be straight forward about putting current struggles out there. When I'm talking to people in real life, I really don't enjoy explaining all the places I can't meet at because I can't handle my kids, or I know the environment will make them shut down.
But seriously, this would be an amazing network to have online. I think so many children and parents would benefit from it.

My sons occupational therapist just created a Facebook page dedicated to matching special needs kids up with others who have the same interests. Her page is growing more and more every week. They set up meet and greets monthly. Maybe you could start a fb page like that.

That would be such a fantastic thing to create, It would be very helpful for everyone. Age range and of course location, I think it would open up so much because it would give the parents some one on one in person time with people who can relate to what each of us deal with. I agree with Sara as far as current struggles because they can affect a lot of things.

That would be so awesome! We live overseas so it's been hard but we are relocating to Spokane, WA. I'd love to find other moms and kids in the same boat as us and just be able to have that support and network. If someone makes a page or just a post about where everyone's at then let me know since I'm not on here a lot due to moving :)
