Starting ABA Therapy

Trying to get the ball rolling on therapy for my son, I asked at the Alta regional center he goes to about ABA therapy now that he has a final diagnosis, and they referred me to my insurance company. I contacted my insurance company and they gave me a list of four providers to choose from. The first one only treats children ages 8-12, so that's out... Another has a long waitlist. I put my son on every wait list I could. Because as you still search at least you know you have been on somebody's wait list. The thing about ABA is every place has a waitlist.

Yeah, I definitely found out that every place has a waiting list, lol... this is not an easy thing to do! I actually have received notification that we made it to the top, and so they are processing all the insurance information for approval and we can start in Dec. I'm just crossing my fingers on the program itself (I think I will make another post on this as well)...
