Hi can you suggest any charter schools near Rancho bernardo? What charter school did your son attend? Right now he is at los pen elementary and getting ready for 6th grade in the fall. He is also high functioning with no behaviors and does very well with Math & reading just needs an aide sometimes for comprehending story. Anway, i am trying to get him NSD class at mesa verde . It is so frustrating that our new IEP admin designee doesnt agree with our choice saying the school doesnt have the program my son needs but the other admin designee for his IEP during 4th at the previous school agreed..how can I choose the school we want?

@A MyAutismTeam Member Jaquay-my son is like that and I was having a hard time too.I won a lottery(that's what you do if you want your child to go to a charter school,you submit your name and basically wait and hope that your called). But I was able to get him into a charter school and they really turned him around .They arranged a program around him.He was in /is in the regular ed class and pulled out for special instruction 3-4 times a week and he has an individual helper (which is a blessing).But now that he's going to high school next year-I'm in the same boat as you!😕
