Good Schools In Irvine, California?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello, we've heard great things about the school districts in Irvine. My 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with moderate ASD. She's been in a special day class in San Leandro, CA and has been in every type of service since she was initially diagnosed (private OT, ABA, Speech and music therapy). The school has offered the basics, and not even OT! After sending letters she will finally have an assessment. She is transitioning to Kinder. At this point we are willing to move wherever services are… read more

It is a form of negligence called medical negligence, I believe, for a parent to not give meds. I’m shocked that DCFS won’t do anything! CPS? My ex is the same but my child is only on meds when she is… read more

How Do You All Deal With Your Violent Or Aggressive Children Being Isolated From Other Kids?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son is extremely violent and aggressive towards other children, but I am really struggling because I don't want him to be isolated and have no contact with other kids. Parents that we used to have play-dates with no longer feel comfortable bringing their children around our home. How do you all deal with that feeling of isolation as a parent, and also the guilt and shame of not feeling able to bring your child around other kids?

My 6 yr old gd is having aggression issues at school.... looking back it seems that the aggression started before an illness.... such as sinus infection...6yr molars... Last week she had some good days and some very horrible days.... she told her aide on Tuesday that she didn't feel well and wanted to go home. For her to express that she isn't feeling well is a great thing for us right now!.... Dr said that she had fluid in her ear....and she ACTUALLY let my daughter put the ear drops in her… read more

Sorry for delayed response. But first you'll need a Homeopath Doctor. Or a Biomed Doctor. Traditional Doctors are not skilled in this and honestly don't know what to look for or what tests to do

Has Anybody Heard Of Cindy Hebbard: Freedom For Autism?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

So, I saw this add for a program for our kids that claims 100% positive results. Apparently, it is tailored to each individual child to take specific steps to improve their behavior, diets, social skills, etc. without the use of ABA. I had a one on one call with the founder last week and she claims to have a daughter on the spectrum that has learned to thrive through her program and her website touts other testimonials of people who have seen social, emotional, and verbal improvements in their… read more
