Google behavioral management companies for the county you will be moving to. Get your name on ALL the waiting lists for your counties and all the surrounding counties. You know that necessity outrank time periods. Get your son on a management company list. It is their job to line up treatment and doctors, etc. It really feels like looking for Jen's teeth, but persistence pays off in the end -(the squeaky wheel). You will have to keep pushing in order to get updates and results, but that is what mom's do.

Wow that school was really involved with your son, my son just got the 3 hour basics of special needs, not any ABA which he really needs, the most he has ever gotten is speech. I deal with all his meltdowns, there is no other services he has gotten, its so frusterating because i see him struggle

I would contact the guidance counselor, even ask to speak to the st and an a to see what they require. Different schools require different information. I'm sure they will need progress reports and would need to know the teaching techniques in order to have as smooth a transition as possible. It would also be helpful if they knew his stemming techniques so they could provide what is needed when he is over-stimulated-my son needed an area to pace, away from the other children, some need a quiet beanbag chair and a book, some need noise canceling head phones, some need a favorite stuffed animal.
You will need an official copy of birth certificate, immunization records, doctor notes and med lists and allergy info.
Hope this helps,my son is no longer in school, but this is pretty much what I think they would need. Have a safe move, and welcome to North Carolina.
Hugs,blessings,smiles,prayers and love.
