Swimming Lessons!
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Any mamas here have their child in swimming lessons?

Does your child enjoy? Is it too demanding that can be too overwhelming for the child?

Do you have one on one (parent & child) training? Any feedbacks?

My child loves loves water (SWIMMING) I want to enroll some swimming lessons but can't seem to find any in my area (Stockton/Lodi, California) If any mamas are in this area and do know of some places please share.

Thanks!

Please , Please get your child swim lessons and find a summer league swim team for them to be on. Often time the summer league coaches will do swim lessons on the side. The YMCA is another great place to start for swim lessons. My son has been involved in swimming every since he was 5 yrs old and I believe it helped him tremendously academically and basicly come out of the fog! I would Also check out any fitness places that have swimming pools for lessons. As you get closer to the summer( even now) I would think you would see advertisements from individuals who teach swim lessons also. One more place and probably the best place to start is if you have a local USA swim club. USA swimming would list them and they always have learn to swim programs if they have their own facilities. As your child grows, they just advance to the next group, Best wishes!
