My son is 8 years old with high functioning Autism. He is in 2nd grade this year and has been placed on an IEP for 1 hr. Speech therapy a week in a small group instruction for social skills. He is attending public school. The schools speech therapist apparently lives in another state and is only physically at the school 1 week a month.
