We started our son on probiotics about 2 years ago and saw the same effects. We talked to the pediatrician and she recommended giving only half and mixing it with something. Lucky for us, he likes Yo-Baby Yogurt, so we'd open the capsule and mix in about half of the powder. I can't tell you how much it improved his bowel health. Our son has constipation problems and it does help. We use the Align probiotics, and like I said, use only half per day. Just a thought. Good luck to you.
