Potty Training And Pull-ups
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son goes to the potty to pee, but he won't poop in the potty. He holds it until we put a pull up on him even if he sits on the potty to pee. Does anyone have ideas on how to transition him from pull up to potty?

My daughter had a difficult time with that. She feared that it would hurt. A lot of times her stools were hard... miralax really helped her. I would sit her on the potty & have her watch a tv show or movie in the am & toward the night. Sometimes we would sit for a few songs & we would dance together. Blowing bubbles or spin wheel while on the potty helped too.
