We have Medicaid through our state and it actually opened doors for more coverage....bc my son is on Medicaid (badgercare here in Wisconsin) he is excepted for what we call title 19...he has full coverage this way on most everything,ABA included...your state may have something similar...definitly check it out.

There are only 5 states in which Medicaid doesn’t cover ABA therapy . I’m not certain which ones I only know Alabama doesn’t for sure . However October 1st of next year that will change . Call the number on the back of your Medicaid card . You are your child’s best advocate!

My son just got Medicaid last year and I was told that it doesn't cover ABA.

I had Medicaid for my son at one point in time. It covered everything, including ABA. However, there was only one ABA place that took it, and that was a $25 taxi ride one way.
