I played it at breakfast while he was eating. Captive audience :). And he didn’t always like it, but I push him to watch it. He gets really into it, but if he really protests, I will shut it down.

We tried this 2yrs ago but didnt fit my son. He was repeating everything including the inappropriate response. No harm in trying. There’s a free 30 day trial period.

I have used it, @A MyAutismTeam Member, in addition to other therapies. I love it. I feel like it has really helped him. You can ask them for scholarships if the monthly fee is too high. It was developed by a mom of twins who have autism, one responding to therapy and one didn’t so she made videos to help him and then expanded to help others. I like it because it shows up close shots of the mouth saying words over and over and then also helps generalize words and concepts by showing lots of different pictures in multiple environments. Strawberries, for example, would be shown in a grocery store, on top of angel cake, etc. There is a free trial for seven days, that’s where we started. If he likes watching TV, he might like it.
