{Here's the rest of my story:} *It made me wonder if they leave Jesse and not include him. I wondered if his closest friend has gotten to the point that he ignores Jesse, because he doesn't want to be his friend. My heart ached and hurt so bad for Jesse. I know what it looks like when people avoid or ignores or looks at someone who they think are weird. When Jesse finally finished his lunch, we went to the quad and found the "lunch group of boys". I could see the neurotypical boys playing and I knew that Jesse is not like them and I couldn't help but cry, inside. When Jesse over reacted for not understanding the game or freaked out because of a bee, I saw how others looked at him and I was very sad.

I wished so badly that he had friends on the spectrum, so that he wasn't alone in being the "different" one!
