My daughter was recently diagnosed with dyslexia, I have been looking for an explanation why she can’t read when she is so smart now I know. Is a sweet and sour moment for me but now I wonder if Kaiser provides IM therapy because I know in my heart that will be of great help for her , does any one know?

There is a great need for after school care for our autistics kids. Many of us struggle financially and have no choice but to work. I'm sick and tired of managing my schedule around my kids. I'd like to create a space in my home where I can provide after school hour care and day care during school closures. This would allow working parents to leave their child with someone who understands the needs of an autistic child and I could earn money, be there for my own kids and provide a much… read more

Hi, my Son is now almost 4 y/o. He was potty trained 3 mos ago, but when he started potty training, ABA taught him to take all lower body dressing off , and done sitting on toilet.
He learned that , but he is not wanting to try in standing , or just put pants/ briefs halfway down. I understand bec he is used to taking them all off.
How can I teach him to do it standing, or train him not to take pants/ briefs all the way?
Pls share some ideas. Thanks.

I have one 7yr old boy (ASD) on Chlonodine. Helps him sleep, therefore better focused during the day in school. Behaviors have minimized and verbalization is increasing. Could be due to sleeping better and/or maturity. I have another 7 yr old boy (PDD..being retested for ADHD) on Melotonin (4ml). He has trouble sleeping and staying asleep. It works wonders!! I was wondering if I should wean my other son off the Chlonodine. Any suggestions??
