My Son Communication Means Very Limited, Advice Would Be Much Appreciated
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi, My son expressive communication is very limited and he shouts a lot to communicate something. So it makes me get headache all day, and i can't reach his understanding or can't be able to help him fully. I have apps for communication, but how to put a picture for help, or tummy ache, pain he can't show us?

That's tough. Does he have a speech therapist or ABA therapist that can work with him on this? If you want him to learn to communicate with pictures a therapist could teach you both to use PECS. It's a picture communication system. I wouldn't teach "help" to a child with very limited expressive language. It's too vague and it will be frustrating for both of you.
