Using A Service Dog For ASD?

My daughter is only 2 but she is extremely sensory seeking. She has horrible anxiety, and minor stimming problems. One of her therapist recommended maybe getting her a service dog as she got older because she is Incredibly smart and unfortunately where we live does not offer special programs or schools for autistic children without paying tens of thousands of dollars a year. We unfortunately live in a city that is so over crowded they don't offer things like that. How I was explained on the phone by the city school board was it was a black and white situation. She could either attend normal classes or be put in special education.

Most schools offer what is called a cluster class. It's a class specifically for autism. In cluster class there are less kids so the anxiety levels are less. My son is in the 4th grade now and when he was in kindergarten he experienced tons of anxiety. We decided a cluster class would be better and we were right. His anxiety had dropped dramatically.
