Hello. I am in the Las Vegas area and was wondering about your outcomes with finding the right school. My son just had his eval and placement. Do we get a choice of schools? I was given only one school. This is all new to me, I am so petrified about the whole process.

Hi there MamaGil!! Firstly I hope all the packing is almost done and that you have found the perfect rental home for you and the family... We are in the same boat at the moment, we are strongly considering moving from San Diego to Las Vegas at the end of the school year. We have also been doing a lot of investigating about the schools ect in the Henderson area as thats where we would like to live... We too have found out that almost every school supports IEP's and have special needs classes ect - it's just choosing the right school for the right fit to our almost 4yr old son!! We actually going to Las Vegas in 2 weeks too go have another look around ect!! Lets stay in touch and update each other on what we find and possible recommendations...
