Hello, I have 9 years autistic son with intellectual disability. He communicates with words but does not talk much. Never communicates headache. He has been taking abilify for 5 years. After a longtime, I decided to take him off of it because of weight gain and off and on headaches. He is off of abilify for 2 and half month now but he has constant severe headaches. @A MyAutismTeam Member, does your insurance cover it? Can you please give any specifics details. I have never tried diet changes. Whatever he eats, I give it to him since he is a picky eater. I don’t want him to hungry. If he is not eating, then I think that he may act out because of hinger .
