United Vs Kaiser For Autism Services
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

We’re relocating soon and I have the option to choose between the two. Any advice would be great.

We have a different health plan but it uses Optum for behavioral health--I think Optum is part of United Healthcare. It takes a bit of work to get them to cover out of network providers but so far they've covered quite a few of the services that we've sought. I've never had Kaiser but lots of folks here swear by it and they are likely to have comprehensive services among their facilities here.
