Bullying, Bullies, Bully. All 'Stigmas', 'Labels' that do not get to the 'Root' of the issue. There was a time when there was such a thing as being 'Picked On' by someone that was seeking a 'Friendship' that had any-other way of expressing it

You son sounds a lot like mine in this regard. He has hit middle school and things have gotten worse for him since he is less shielded and coming into self awareness . I am now homeschooling for the first part of the day which has lessened his negative experiences but he is increasingly depressed and anxious and cycling from hating others to hating himself . His loneliness I believe is the root of the issue and the harder he tries the less desired response he gets.
He has really been hurt by a few kids saying “ nobody likes you” to him.
I am feel thst all the negative feelings have now overwhelmed him so he is getting very little joy out of life. I am on verge of okaying medication and signed up to this forum to find out people’s experiences with Wellbutrin and fluoxetine. ( he’s been diagnosed Aspergers and ADD, has expressive and receptive communication delay and some ocd).

J did this self negative talk they told us she was depressed? Not sure if thats the answer for you or if your son takes meds but that turned it right around! She would come in and ask is today an atf day and i would explain the day and she would go out on her swing and say its. Canceled they wont let me go and she would come in again...a med change and now she giggles on the swing
