i want to know is moderate autism but as hight function or as low function
my child is modertate autism by CARS he made 34.5 mild to moderate autism but finally they said he is moderate autism the question now who can tell me if my child have low or high function ?????

Would you agree that even within the realm of high functioning autism there are different levels of social capability? Examples:
High Functioning: Lacks theory of mind. Needs to live at home. Able to function in a sheltered work and home environment.

I got my Autism Team email and it had the question: what is considered lower functioning and higher functioning? It showed a partial answer by someone named "MyZett." What do you encourage for independent play. Be have drawing and puzzles down but can't seem to find anything else she'll take interest in. She's almost 3 and electronics are not an option at this time.
Musicial instruments is a thought. I'd love for her to learn to play something. :)
