Positive Education Program:Phoenix
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi,

My son is 15 and has HFA, but has behavior problems. He was in a self contained classroom this past school year in the public school district, but I was just told they want to put him in an out of school placement due to his behaviors. They want me to consider PEP:Phoenix in Parma, Ohio. Does anyone have their child there? What is it like and do you like it? TIA!

I dont live near you or know of this school, but I would go and tour the school, talk to staff, and get a good feel of the fit. We had three schools to choose from for my son and I just knew in my gut which one would fit him best and he is so much happier there. He is learning and they have taught me so much and are guiding me through this journey. Good luck!

It's not that I can't do anything for my son, the school wants to do an out of school placement for him and I was just looking to see if anyone had experience with the school.
