Adderall
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My 12 year old (asd) son was recently precribed Adderall, Hes been taking it for about two months now, He is non verbal and I've notice recently that he does alot of sleeping and laying around. He has always been energetic should I be concerned or is this just what the medication is supposed to do, I will be taking him to his doctor Monday morning just wanted some advice until then.

That was my assumption at first and I spoke with his doctor he said with his weight and age it's appropriate.

Hi Marylj.
My son is 7 yrs old,not much of verbalizing his words, but he say things what he wants, his good at school.the only problem is focus and the attention span.not too independent yet.
taking adderall 10 mg.it calm down the hyperactivity and less appetite on food.
Every individual respond to meds differently.
Any good effect on your son?
