My son has received therapy for a little over a year and he is more socially engaged. Yet when asked questions differently than the way he was taught during therapy sessions he becomes very confused. He answers question with the same answers, despite the questions are different. I am not sure if its the progress I expected. Its like his answers are not truly how he feel but rehearsed. Please help!
Not surprising, our kids are so neat. Amazing how the therapists didn't pick up on it. I would mention it them and hopefully they'll solve the problem.
Does he get speech therapy? That sounds more like a receptive or expressive language issue or both that a speech therapist should be helping with. My daughter learns better using visuals so the speech therapist used a lot of picture cards and she’s done great with it.
Yes is recieves speech therapy during school, but I will mention his issue with her as well. Thank you for your help
