A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Hello. I'm researching in my master's degree at Brazil about autism, self injury and sports. I would like to know more about the parents interests and questions about those topics, since my goal is to research something valuable to them.

Self injury : ok I guess the emotional side of things and also how the sense of touch can be adapted to sports equipment . Different materials that last long durable easy grip rackets
Meditation in sport that can benifit people with autism . Me I have had problems going to the gym and figuring out this key monitor business maybe research aid equipments that record and tell you plainly what next etc

Swimming is probably best suited to autistic people . From early age . Less risk of muscle damage no equipment just body and natural water pressure and for a heavy Wieight person it wouldn't matter . Because having autism can cause stress depression which can lead to stuffing once face sometimes for comfort swimming is ideal πŸ‘
