My 7 year-old son needs a 1:1 aide for the school day. The school was able to provide an aide for the bus but not for the class . He elopes if not supervised and hits his face . I requested one during his IEP and they told me to wait and see if the eloping and hitting stop . I get almost daily reports from the teacher saying he elopes as well as the assistants.
