We love tenex (also known as guanfacine). My daughter has been on it for 4 years. She has ADHD but you can see a more calm kid of the meds. It's a must for school or she wouldn't stick a task. The downside is we think it also makes her more tired but on the whole the good effects outweigh the negative side effects.

Also when you say aggressive do you mean he hits and bites or is he wrestling and pushing? My sons doesn’t hurt anyone on purpose he just gets too excited so he tackles them or pushes them.

I just got back from the gym and he had a bad day a parent even complained to the head of child watch. So I feel your pain. My 4 yo isn’t on anything yet and I am so scared to put him on anything. I am also curious to see what others do for hyperactive “aggressive” kids.

My twins have been in Tenex for about two years now, it calms them down a little bit with no major side effects. I hope this helps, they take it in the morning time.
