Equine Therapy?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My daughter is 3, on the spectrum, and loves animals. I've been looking a little into equine therapy and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it? If so, was it helpful? Any input would appreciated. Thanks!

At the age of 2, my son was drawn to horses, very fascinated with them. I used to take him to the local horse stables where I befriended the owner. She allowed us to visit everyday, and we had the pleasure of picking up a bag of carrots and feeding them too. My son loved it, but he grew out of them. I do feel they calmed and seemed drawn to him. I will never forget that experience.
It won't harm to try, she may like it.
