Urinary Trouble On Prozac?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Anyone’s kids have trouble with increasing frequency and trouble emptying bladder on Prozac. The med has made my kid less irritated but the need to go to the bathroom every 10 min and leaking afterwards isn’t worth it I don’t think. He’s never had urinary issues before. It’s listed as a side effect but the docs say it’s probably constipation ( but his not). Anyone have thoughts advice?

Yes my daughter tried both Zoloft and Prozac to help with her anxiety. Both caused her to have accidents, as well as randomly peeing in inappropriately places- like outside, and in her room. Her doctor said ithis is a rare side effect. We stopped the med and it went away. She was 7 at the time and had never had that issue before.
For adhd she takes vyvanse and that has been really helpful.
