My son age 3 whom is on the spectrum , is getting in the mirror and pulling his pull up to look at his private area. He climbs in the bathroom sink when he can or tries to get in my daughters room because she has a mirror that stands to do this. Has anyone encountered this behavior and what can I do to help?

My son was playing with a neurotypical child and felt the need to say "I have autism." The other child said "No you don't." I am happy that my son is accepted by this child but saddened that there is this "stereotype" of autism. Each and every child is gifted, not handicapped. My son goes through streaks where he doesn't want to wear his coat or shoes. Usually it is a seasonal change so I get it and am patient while we work through it. He can go a month and not have any problems, and then all of the sudden his shoes are "not tight enough". We were doing really good and now for the last few weeks he refuses to wear shoes. My 10 yr old daughter has always been very imaginative and creative. When she was little she had an imaginary friend, and she would dramatize scripts in her head, and often believe certain scenarios she made up were real. Her fixations are mermaids and fairies. I have four children 14 11 8 and 7. Any experience with binge eating or compulsive eating behaviors? Since my 10 year old daughter started puberty, she has been exhibiting some compulsive eating behaviors. Food is obviously a comfort to her and a sensory input for her, but I am trying to watch the amount and the quality of the food she eats for her health. My six year old ASD daughter has meltdowns everyday over getting dressed. She doesn't like to wear panties, socks, or long sleeves (when she has to wear a coat). Her other clothing issues are easy to deal with, she doesn't like tight pants or elastic waists. Everything has to be soft. I've tried several different kinds of socks and panties to see what if one works. The last socks I found that work are no longer available anywhere near me. hands appropriately engaged in materials or in lap

My son is 25 now and from what I understand he doesn't like doing his job. He is living with his dad and stepmother and giving them grief. He won't talk to me.
