Towns Around The Sacramento Area With Good Schools/access To Services?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband and I are floating the idea of leaving Los Angeles and moving north in the next year or two. His parents live in Placerville. It would be a lot cheaper for us to live up there, and with his family nearby we might have more support. Of course when choosing a location we need to think about our son and his needs. Do any of you live in that area of northern california and could share how it has been for you/your kids in regards to schools and services? Thanks :)

We unfortunately moved from the bay area when my son was 3 months but I know that Berkley has some nice areas. I am not sure about services but it was too expensive for us there.

We moved to Houston to be closer to family. Having support is critical so you should consider it.

You might want to check out the center for autism and related disorders in placerville. We have not used them but the clinic we use in Houston mentioned them on their resources website.

ABA and OT services have helped my 7 year old alot.
