I have a 6 year old sister with severe autism
She is still in nappies/diapers
We are having real problems with her taking off her nappy/diaper sometimes more often than not causing poo to go everywhere.
Can anyone recommend any clothes that we might be able to buy to drop her getting to her nappy/diaper. We have tried various things just seeing what else could be put there.
The nappy could be dry and she still takes it off so it isn’t the fact the nappy/diaper is full.

Go to the website Fun & Function. They sell special spandex shorts called “No poo shorts”. We’ve been using them with success. They have a Velcro closure waistband & snaps over it.
I don’t know if this will help but it depends on how good her dexterity is but both of my kids did this for years. We bought onesie tops. Or leotard tops that you have to step into. And then pants with a thin belt. All it does is slow them down so you have a better chance to catch them in the act before it goes to “painting in poo!”. Funny thing is I got so paranoid from all the outfit changes and poo everywhere I could smell a stinky diaper from two rooms away! When the kid would look lumpy in the pants or crooked I knew they were pulling at it trying to get it off. Good luck, it’s a tough time your family is in!
Than you!!
I think a belt is a great idea. Thank you!
