My son is 7 and while at school he hits and damages property. I have updated his IEP sat with the principal and I do not know how to tell them how to manage his poor behavior. He doesn't act this way with me more, hand flapping and repetitive singing patterns. Noone seems to know how to deal and I just need good advice on how to decrease these episodes when I cannot be at his school. Thank you
Does he have a tss or a bsc? Thats how i got through preschool last year with my son, he also became violent with the teachers and sometimes students. We had to have both of his aides there with him, but instead of attacking the faculty he attacked them. Unfortunately we get the same at home which is why i homeschool him... i ask myseld everyday how the hell am i doing this and keeping my sanity 😂 hang in there
@A MyAutismTeam Member. I would visit the school and observe what's going on. My son was having issues at school when he was younger he would cry for no reason. He was 12 at the time no one was bothering him it was the start of puberty. I just had to see for myself to ease my mind. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for the answers. He doesn't have neither. I talked to him about home schooling and I am feeling that would be the best out come. Now I am on a mission to try and achieve it and still work. In the meantime, I have been searching for schools that have special education and so far no luck where we are.
