Yes maybe. I was shock to hear that. But really, Kaiser takes 30days? Unbelievable

It must be a Kaiser thing. I was able to get my daughter set up within 24 hours. But that was nearly three years ago, things may have changed.

Thanks for the reply. I called the health provider choice option and was told it would take Kaiser 30days to approve. Call kaiser medi-cal # and was told the same too;(

Call the toll feee number. If this is a new case, you can select an administrator and primary care without waiting the 30 days. If you choose to make a change later then the 30 day wait will apply.
