I don't think this group is big on biomedical treatments. If you are really interested try talking to a MAPS dr. There are great ones out there. Join a biomedicine parents group. Like recoveringkids or rogue recovery on Facebook. They are great! Lots of good information to get started and many kids are thriving. All based on science and some alternative medicine. Good.luck!

For aba contact your medical insurance company they can provide you a list of providers that are covered under your plan.

I'm from Delaware, and now living in Florida. My son was diagnosed here, but if I was home, I'd start my search for services at AI Dupont.

Hi Prouddaddy,

Hopefully your son’s signs turn out to be nothing, but it’s good idea to be proactive anyway.

Biomedical treatments are a bit of a lottery. Some children respond really well to them, for others they do nothing. A good starting point is to find a Dr (a real one) or a Gastroenterologist (if he has digestive issues) that specializes in Autism and Neurological conditions. If it turns out your son has another underlying condition like Celiacs then you will see a huge improvement in his behavior.

Unfortunately I live in Spain so I can’t recommend anyone or an ABA therapist but hopefully someone on here can.
