Hi friends, can you share experiences of GFCF diet on your kids ? Does it improve speech?
That’s wonderful Information. Can you please suggest any website where I can get dosage information for 3yr old ASD kids esp for fish oil. and multivitamins. Thanks.
Ever sense my son came home from the hospital about a month after he was born, he always seems to have nightmares periodically throughout the night
Mind you i never really though much of it when he was an infant, but now that he older and can sleep through the night they are more clearly noticeable
He will wake in the middle of the night either crying, screaming and occasionally in cold sweats. My son has been diagnosed with autistic disorder, but I cant find anything relating to nightmares… read more
well i am 20 am i am austic but i do that when i am sleeping to what me and my mom do now is put on a happy calming sond and it helps me i have done it since i was real little
Putting your kid in ABA that includes any kind of punishment system is harmful.
Forcing them to eat foods that are sensory nightmares for them.
Trying to 'cure' them, there is no cure for autism, if someone tells that they have/know a cure they're either a scamer or VERY poorly informed.
If you have any questions ask me in the comments! 🤗
Hello there! I wanted to share that our son has been able to get over some of his food aversion over the years. When younger, he wouldn’t eat bananas, lettuce, tomatoes, pretty much the healthy kind… read more
What are everyone’s thoughts about Melatonin? I have a lot of confusion about it myself. Some say no way it’s terrible for kids, others say it’s safe and helps everyone. My doctor didn’t quit answer when I asked he just asked why I stopped giving it to my son. Overall I just want to know if anyone actually has an answer. Not to use everyday but in moderation.
So, melatonin affects people differently. For our son, we have to give him melatonin. We have tried without, tried changing hours of naps and bedtimes, tried other remedies, tried no nap at all… read more
We are taking our 10 year old daughter with classic autism to Disney World in january, which spurred us to start looking at trackers. I think we have decided it would be a good investment, regardless of the trip, to get her a tracker. Does anyone have experience with them? It is kind of overwhelming trying to choose the right one. I appreciate any suggestions or anecdotes. Thanks!
I just found this deal online. I think for the price it would be worth a try. I love that I can call the watch and talk to him if I need to. https://www.opensky.com/bluelans/product/anti-l...

We had a similar experience where my daughter just wasn't responding to certain therapists and the service we were using was having trouble keeping employees. She started out loving it and then just… read more
Any tips to get an 8 year old to sleep? He will stay in his room and read all night. We've taken everything out of his room and that resulted in violent anger. So now he only has books in there. Melatonin doesn't do anything anymore.
We have a good routine (or so I think) that we've had since he was a baby. 6:30 pjs and snacks, in the bed by 7 and we read together for an hour, I walk out at 8 and am done for the night! He's so good about all that, but he says he has nightmares and he's scared… read more
He might need a comfort object. Like Calvin had Hobbes to take care of the monsters under the bed. It could be a stuffed animal, a body pillow, or a cozy blanket to cuddle into. When I was a child, a… read more
My son started kindergarten last week and he has a paraprofessional. It's been a rough start, my son is pulling things of shelves, makes noises and even kicked some people in the classroom. He's not violent with us, so this has to be related to being overwhelmed
Unfortunately his para is not trained to deal with autistic behaviors and the teacher doesn't seem to want to deal with the situation (I get it, she has many other kids to teach). Have any of your kids struggled in kindergarten? Did it… read more

My son's IEP for Kindergarten is scheduled in a couple weeks. Anyone have any recommendations or tips? I hear such nightmares when it comes to these meetings
When I had my first IEP meeting I was so nervous I had no idea what was going to happen. I did learn however that you have the final say you listen to what they recommend and if you do not agree then… read more
I’ve heard that too much screen time causes autism. And that you can improve autism by spending more time with your child.
Screen time does NOT cause autism. Autism starts in the womb, caused by nothing other than the fact that we are all created to be who we are for a reason 😊 The world needs neurodiversity! Screen time… read more
