This song really helped my son.
My 11 year old daughter is refusing to do anything. She doesn't want to leave the house at all. She has been to school twice since the school year started. She also refuses to bathe and won't let anyone help her either. She has two ABA therapists that work with her but they haven't been successful either. I am starting to feel like I am failing or not doing something right. Does anybody have any suggestions? I love my baby and just want her to progress.
She does have anxiety about those things. She will run away or at times get aggressive. Thanks for the info and reassurance that things will get better.
I am having a minor issue with my daycare provider and my son. My son is not fully potty trained. I suspect he is somewhere on the spectrum, though he is not officially diagnosed. He is trained with poop, but not fully with pee. He has pee accidents constantly at home and at daycare. Daycare refuses to put a pull-up on my son, saying that he is trained. He is not in my opinion, as he has frequent accidents ( three times a week clothes come home soiled) the daycare specifically says potty… read more
Well the best thing to do then is have them bring him to the potty every hour to make sure he comes home with clean pants. I would make that suggestion. Best also to get him diagnosed so you can… read more
We are having difficult time having my son ride the car as he cries a lot and cries hysterically. He will say this way, that way and we can't practically follow him as those ways doesn't take us to the destination. He seems to be wanting to go opposite of where we want to go. And it's not for entire route but majority of the route.
It's so difficult to handle as it sometimes distracts me from driving too and get irritated too.
Anyone experiencing the similar thing or any suggestions.
Thank… read more

@A MyAutismTeam Member we are seeing a biomedical dr since our neurologist recommended therapy and that's it. I know this was not enough. Needless to say I have given him 3 b12 shots and he is saying… read more
I'm looking for the best southern state with the best resources. We're trying not to move back to Ohio, but we're not receiving much help where we're at.
Not southern but I saw one individual say they were considering moving north. I can say that having my child involved with MMCC (Margaret Murphys Center for Children) has been awesome in Maine. We… read more
His school provides bare minimum with therapy. Our kids (only) were once on Medicaid and it seemed to provide pretty decent therapy throughout the week, however, with a pay bump at my job, and my wife now going back to work, we are just over the threshold for Medicaid. Private therapy is something that I know is worth it but again cannot simply afford it. Meanwhile our son has gone on 25min tangents in his classroom to the point where the teachers are growing intolerant. What are options for us… read more
