My son is easily manipulated and wants so badly to have friends. He is a video game wiz and feels much more comfortable communicating on apps. Unfortunately he has been asked repeatedly for money from people he thinks will be his friend. I feel so bad because he believes he is helping these scammers by sending them money. Is anyone here from Evansville Indiana?
I hate when people take advantage of others, hope things go well with your Son.

The internet seems to have been made for scammers. Trust no one fully online and even be cautious meeting them in public. Tell your son about the scams below for starters if he's not aware. Personally, I wouldn't want my daughter to advertise her autism online so she isn't a target as well.
"According to a report from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), millennials are particularly more vulnerable to online scams than seniors, as shocking as it may seem. The research finds that “40 percent of adults age 20-29 who have reported fraud ended up losing money in a fraud case”.
