My daughter was recently diagnosed with dyslexia, I have been looking for an explanation why she can’t read when she is so smart now I know. Is a sweet and sour moment for me but now I wonder if Kaiser provides IM therapy because I know in my heart that will be of great help for her , does any one know?

My son won't use is Ipad, because he cannot watch TV, or exit the screen and choose what he wants to watch he as no interest on the Ipad. I brought the Ipad mainly for communication not that I want allow him to watch is shows however I want him to realize that the main purpose of the Ipad is for communicating his needs. Finding an effective reward system for Jack has been tough over the years, what motivates him one day ~ does nothing for him the next day. Sometimes the motivator can change from the morning to the evening. Really REALLY tough to keep up. I am now keeping full-size KitKat bars on hand to reward him with. He was diagnosed in the 6th grade and assessed twice since then. Has gone to therapy, but says he will never go once he turns 18, Has become angry with me as he has grown older, often verbally abusive. Believes it is my fault he received his ASD diagnosis.
