We're planning a move, and I'm wondering if anyone has any insight/experiences/recommendations for public schools in the Omaha, NE area. School websites don't give a lot of information on whether or not parents are happy with how their children are taught or treated.
We are prepping to move too! I used https://www.greatschools.org/, https://www.niche.com/k12/search/best-schools/, and https://www.nationsreportcard.gov/ to get a good idea of the quality of schools.
Elkhorn public schools is the one I would pick
We've been looking at all the surrounding areas, that's why I was hoping to find out if anyone would recommend certain ones over others
Ops has a crappy reputation. Look at Millard, papillon, la vista, Bellevue, ralston, west side community schools might be an Omaha school but it is the only one that is has a decent rep…
Advice don’t live in ops… they annex cities to improve their scores. My aunt lives in elkhorn, ne technically Omaha but not the same school district. Her youngest two both have asd. The district paid for a spot at a special school so they would have options. Either way they really like elkhorn public schools
