my son has a moderate level of sensory sensitivity, has had toileting issues for some time, but now he is mostly 'trained' however the greatest challenge is getting him to wear underwear. any suggestions? also, he has a little brother who still needs pullups, so they are in the house for another year or so.

My son is also going on 24 yrs. and is high functioning. Does your daughter use the internet or know how to text? Maybe they can be pen pals and share interests. 😊
I'm am looking to relocate to the Nashville "area." I'm probably going to end up in Dickson Co, but don't mind to drive into Nashville or Franklin for services. I'm looking for suggestions for medical care across the board. I'll need to set my son up with a new pediatrician, OT, SLP, and hopefully ABA. I am the mom of an 8 yr old boy with PPD-NOS and ADHD. We homeschool and are looking for homeschooling groups that focus on special needs children and have social gatherings or group activities. Any groups in North Texas who do this? We live in Anna, TX (north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex)

My 6 year old daughter was assessed by a psychiatrist as having characteristics at the age of 3.5. She was labeled as being developmentally delayed and labeled as pdd-nos. We took her to a developmental pediatrician who said that she was not on the spectrum, but sent her for an ados test. The ados test was administered and they said that she was PDD-NOS. I have been searching for resources to get help for my daughter for 3 months to no avail. She has Medicaid and apparently there is a shortage of providers. Can you provide any insight or guidance?
One of my twin granddaughters would not talk in complete sentences but now 7 years later...she talks and speaks about everything. Doctors used to say she would never talk....but boy were they wrong.
