i was wanting recomendation for ibt that are good for my 4 year old son.. any recomendations??

My son, Aidan, is very aggressive when he gets mad. Not only is he aggressive to people/animals but is destructive to things. (Walls, TV, etc). We have tried to encourage deep breathing, going to punching a pillow/bean bag/punching bag. He wants nothing to do with any of these things. Very new to all of this....one of the recommendations my son rec'd w/ his diagnosis was to consider ABA therapy. Our insurance covers it (partial)...what does it entail? Is it worth it?

He just turned 4 (yesterday) and is in school for 1/2 days 5 days a week and in a preschool program for 1/2 day on Tues & Thurs.

I have a REALLY big problem with my autistic son being mean or even violent to his younger brother. I've tried time-out, but he won't stay in it. He's too strong for me to restrain him in time-out. What should I do?

My son is extremely violent and aggressive towards other children, but I am really struggling because I don't want him to be isolated and have no contact with other kids. Parents that we used to have play-dates with no longer feel comfortable bringing their children around our home. How do you all deal with that feeling of isolation as a parent, and also the guilt and shame of not feeling able to bring your child around other kids?
