Waivers For Children With Aspergers Syndrome?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anybody know about any waivers or grants offered for children with Aspergers syndrome? Something that could be used to pay for a companion or respite care? I know HCBS waivers cover that...but not sure if they do for Aspergers. The child was Medicad and lives in Florida. Thanks!

Asperger's TV Stars
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

The down side of this is that the actors usually have the lead role… read more

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son knows he has some problems. He was moved to a school that has a BD program. He wants to get better. He wants his brain to be normal. He feels alone a lot and needs to know he's not the only kid going through this. Are there any DVDs out there for him to watch to help him?

Hi

Can anyone suggest books or videos anything that may help with my Aspie son. I do have a few Temple Grandin books and I've read the Asperger's question and answer book, but was more confused with that than helped. I guess when I read it we didn't yet have the diagnosis. He has been through every diagnosis you can think of before… read more
