Has anyone been summoned to court for your autistic child’s school refusal? Any insight/helpful tips would be appreciated, including should I hire a lawyer. Thanks.
Was the school informed of this school refusal was it in the IEP I’m asking because if it was and they did not do anything to help. You argue this
I can recommend Caroline Moniza, PsyD. She use to work at the Alexander Center in Eden Prairie but I think she may have moved on to the Center for Behavior and Learning in Minnetonka.
We are looking into a new school for my 2nd grader. How have any of you decided on the right school? We are looking in to Fraser Academy Inclusion School in Minneapolis, MN as we are located in Eagan, MN but other than the official website we are not finding much information on it. My son is refusing to learn in class and is interfering with the learning process of others. I am considering homeschooling or online schooling with my son. My son does participate in social groups outside of school so that element will not be completely missed.
