I am looking for the best Houston,TX area public schools for a child with autism. He is verbal and in a mainstreamed private Pre-K in MS right now with pull out for special education services. We have three other children in general education so we are looking for the best of both worlds as well as convenience to Houston Hobby airport.

My son Jonathan will be turning 17 soon. I'm wondering what we should do when he is 18. Do we have to file for guardianship or are there less restrictive alternatives that will enable us to help him with his finances and health. I recently moved to Houston and am looking for a great pediatrician that accepts BCBSTX HMO insurance. When I checked with insurance, there are over 300 pediatrician who are in network with our insurance plan but I don't know who are good and bad. Some of my friends' kid see pediatricians from TX children pediatric group and they are good but they do not take HMO.
